Truthfulness and Accuracy of Data
When buying, i.e. contracting insurance online, the Policyholder is required to answer all the questions truthfully and accurately.
Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. accepts no responsibility for incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate information entered by the client during online purchase.
If the policyholder has intentionally reported incorrectly, or concealed any information for which the Insurer would not have entered into the contract had it been aware of the actual circumstances, Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. may request cancellation of the contract and is entitled to the insurance premium in accordance with the law.
If the policyholder has unintentionally submitted an incorrect application or failed to give due notice, Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. may, within one month of learning of the inaccuracy or incompleteness of the application to declare the contract terminated or to propose a premium increase in proportion to the higher risk. In the event of termination of the contract, the insurer is required to return part of the premium in accordance with the law.
Law and Jurisdiction
By using this website the user irrevocably agrees that any disputes arising from the use of this website, or related to its use, or related to the insurance purchase via webshop shall be settled amicably with Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. In the event that the dispute cannot be settled amicably, it shall be under the jurisdiction of the competent court in Belgrade.
PROTECTION OF CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION ABOUT A TRANSACTION DURING ONLINE PURCHASE
During online purchase confidential information is transmitted via public network in a protected form, with 128bit SSL protocol and PKI system –the most current technology.
Data security during online purchase is guaranteed by official credit card processor, Banca Intesa a.d. Beograd, on whose website the billing process takes place.
Credit card data are never available to Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. and cannot be stored in the database of Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. or used for other purposes. Therefore Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. cannot be responsible for their abuse.

DELIVERY OF INSURANCE POLICY / CERTIFICATE
1.1. Options for Insurance Policy/Certificate Delivery
Throughout the territory of Serbia, the insurance policies/certificates can be delivered by courier service, by standard prompt delivery:
After confirmation of successful payment of the insurance premium the insurer may submit the insurance certificate and other required documents in a PDF file to an email address provided by the policyholder (person making the payment) under personal details, if this option is provided for the insurance product in question. Insurance certificate is a written document which confirms that the insurance contract is signed and it contains all the essential features of the insurance contract. If the policyholder has chosen the option to submit the insurance certificate via email, delivery is carried out as soon as possible.
1.2. Insurance Policy/Certificate Delivery
When delivering the insurance policy/certificate the policyholder is required to show his/her valid ID, for identification purposes, to the courier or to an employee at our branch office at Vladimira Popovića 8, 11070 Novi Beograd.
The above paragraph does not apply if the insurance certificate is sent via email.
1.3. Signing the Insurance Policy/Certificate
After delivery, the policyholder is required to sign all the copies of the insurance policy/certificate.
1.4. Returning the Signed Copy of the Policy
After signing of the insurance policy the insured retains the original copy/copies of the policy, and the last two copies of the policy must be returned to the courier or postal clerk in an enclosed envelope. These copies are then returned to Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. by express mail.
The above paragraph does not apply in case of delivery of insurance certificate.
2.1. Cost of Delivery on the Territory of the Republic of Serbia
The cost of delivery is 160 RSD.
2.2. There is no charge if the insurance certificate is submitted via email.
COMPLAINTS
If you receive a damaged insurance policy/certificate or supporting documents, Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. is required to correct the insurance policy/certificate or to issue new copies of documents.
If an employee of Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. fills out the insurance policy/certificate or supporting documents incorrectly, the client has a right to complain.
The complaints received are resolved within 30 days.
If the insured has a complaint, he/she is required to submit the original policy, i.e. to return the policy which contains false or incorrect data entered.
If an insurance certificate is submitted via email, the complaint must also be sent via email, with insurance certificate attached.
REFUND
In the event of return of goods and refund to the customer who has previously paid with a credit card, in part or in full, regardless of the reason for the return, Generali Osiguranje Srbija a.d.o. is required to make the refund only through VISA, EC/MC and Maestro payment methods, meaning that the bank will make the refund to the cardholder’s account, upon request of the seller.
CONVERSION
All payments will be effected in Serbian currency – dinar (RSD). The amount your credit card account will be charged for is obtained through the conversion of the price in Euro into Serbian dinar according to the current exchange rate of the Serbian National Bank. When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations. As a result of this conversion there is a possibility of a slight difference from the original price stated in our web site.
All payments are effected only in local currency – dinar (RSD). If your credit card is not associated with an RSD account, the transaction amount in dinars will be converted into the currency on your account according to your bank’s rate, i.e. the credit card issuer. Due to the said conversions, amounts may differ from the original transaction amount.
